ABSTRACT CALENDAR – A MENOLOGIUM

The Gallery of Arts hosted the solo exhibition Abstract Calendar: Boris Oshkukov’s Menologium. Florentine Mosaics and Sculpture. It showcased abstract mosaics crafted from minerals—jasper, lapis lazuli, nephrite, rhodonite, quartz, and others—each symbolically evoking the atmosphere of a month. The title reflects the exhibition’s unique genre: a visual “narrative” about the cyclical transformations of nature.
