STONE PAINTINGS

The DOC ART GALLERY project has deep roots. One pivotal moment in shaping its mission was Boris Oshkukov’s exhibition at the Kochubey Centre (Pushkin, HSE St. Petersburg). Held during the Kochubey Readings in the Poetry Salon of the Kochubey Mansion, the show featured his Florentine mosaic works. These abstract panels extended the traditions of 20th-century Russian and international avant-garde art.
