THE ABSTRACT WORLDS OF BORIS OSHKUKOV

DOC ART GALLERY presented a retrospective of its founder, artist and patron Boris Oshkukov (1948–2021). This inaugural exhibition became a continuation of his legacy. Spanning his entire career, it included Roman and Florentine mosaics, wooden reliefs, sculptures, and metal-stone-glass compositions—all exploring his central theme: deciphering the cosmos through the lens of the subconscious. The exhibition was the first attempt to reconstruct his process of translating irrational impulses into abstract form.
